2019 QATSICPP Members’ Conference

On behalf of the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak Ltd
(QATSICPP), we welcome and extend a warm invitation to you to participate
in the QATSICPP Members’ Conference 2019 and QATSICPP 10 Year Anniversary Dinner from 26- 28 June 2019.

The 2019 Members’ Conference will build upon the success of the QATSICPP Members’ Conference 2018, which showcased Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Child Protection Sector (Sector), its engagement with communities and delivery of targeted and responsive services. The QATSICPP Members’ Conference 2019 will highlight the critical milestones that have been achieved in policy, program and service delivery since the implementation of the new Child Protection Reform Amendment Act 2017. Sixteen (16) Member Organisations will feature and highlight the skill and expertise of our Sectors workforce, sharing knowledge and best practice examples.

The 2019 Conference is an opportunity for all delegates to engage with our Sector as it shares practice wisdom through key presentations.

Further, the 2019 Members’ Conference will be facilitated by internationally renowned, Canadian First Nations child and young people’s advocate, Professor Cindy Blackstock. Professor Blackstock will lead a Masterclass on Wednesday 26 June 2019.
